MSU chaplain buffs are mediocre, with the exception of the "2 charge buff for deep striking. As a pure beat stick, I'm missing the hype. You could make a chapter champion stronger for less points.
Same for librarian, what are you taking? One situational debuff, and a smite isn't worth 100+ pts and an
HQ slot.
Thanks Footfoe. I admit, I hadn't thought of any specific situation. For the librarian, I was merely thinking of some of the useful psyker abilities. No particular situation in mind. Though I did think the null field was pretty sweet and I was thinking that one of the "smite like" abilities where you can pick a model to damage would essentially let me control which models I could remove (due to further damage having to come off the already injured model). That would be useful against a unit with specific weapons or invuls scattered throughout. I don't know if that's enough of a reason or not.
