We are just finishing up the first wave of terrain that will be sent to the US as part of the Printable Scenery lend-lease program. I had to show off one of my favorite tables before it was crated up and dispatched. The Daemon scenery has so much detail and character that I will miss playing with it in the office. However, knowing that many others will have the use of it once tournaments re-start over the next year does make it worth it. It will be joining 3 other full tables of scenery in the first wave that are all tournament-ready straight from the box. Hopefully when Adepticon is back on I can pop out and play on it again!

That's neat as hell. What is the Printable Scenery Lend-Lease Program?

"All you 40k people out there have managed to more or less do something that I did some time ago, and some of my friends did before me, and some of their friends did before them: When you saw the water getting gakky, you decided to, well, get out of the pool, rather than say 'I guess this is water now.'"

The Lend Lease, which will probably launch as the Tournament Support Package, will be a collection of all-in-one scenery packs for fantasy wargames tournaments. Each pack will have a table worth of themed scenery and play mat ready to be played with straight out of the box. They will be stored with our friends at Architects of Destruction in California, and will be free to hire for TO's around North America who are running large-scale events that may struggle to fill out all the tables they need to.
