I'm new to the arena of War Gaming. I don't play any of the popular games. My interest is in the painting & modding of the various figures and equipment that go with the games. I have been viewing some great practical sculpts and Zbrush-type sculpts as well. The way that these are painted & displayed are just awe-inspiring. There are a couple of YT channels that offer tutorials and I have been watching them intently.
My goal is to learn the popular games and various factions, how to paint them to make them interesting. Eventually I would like to be able to mod or scratch build figures that fit into the gaming world.
I have been a model maker and sculptor for many years mainly Sci-Fi such as Star Trek, BSG, Star Wars, etc. I have created commission pieces and kit assembly and finish for various clients.

I look forward to learning and discussing with the membership here.
