Figured that this would be worth a look considering all the monthly patreons and such that happen for 3D print files and how it can be a bit of a challenge keeping up with all that's on offer; both in terms of brand new models but also in terms of throwback releases, surprises, bonuses and other things that come along. Please do add what you've got and printed this month and what else you've spotted out there in the wide web!
First up a video by Tabletop Karnage which lists pretty much all this months release from a huge selection of the Patreons. It doesn't include KS or stores, this is purely stuff on Patreon for this month alone. Each developer has a number and it counts down the list noting what's on offer. There's a Google document that, for each month, lists the number, name and links to their patreon. Remember most will have stores (such as my-mini-factory) so do google the name as well and you'll likely easily find a store or such that can show you their past work if they are a new name to you and you want to get a better idea what else they produce.
Also note that many KS often offer a welcome pack and/or a throwback to a previous release as well. So sometimes there's a lot more on offer than just the monthly.
My own purchases and a few good things to keep an eye on! Note I'd love to link to images, but I'm unsure (once signed up) which patreon posts are public and which are private and thus what will and won't show when shared. So please please do follow the patreon links and you should be able to see things.
These guys make some jrpg style models and monsters, not one that I'd normally end up backing but their current level of "Monster Hunter" has some fantastic monsters and warriors including several dragon style models. There's also two further freebies this month with characters for 1000 patreons and a 1st Anniversary model for the patreon. So all told a great month to get into this patreon.
Two new sets with Inferno Island and Divine Divinity. Inferno Island has a big ship model and a whole host of creatures including wyverns, basalisk, phoenix, shark warriors and many more. Divinity comes with a huge eastern dragon in a really neat coiled pose, and a selection of 4 turtles, 1 rat, a boarman and some ninja. So along with the Divinity there's a bit of TMNT with their own flare to the designs.
Epic don't really do pre-supporting as such, they (from what I can tell) just use Lychee to rotate and apply auto supports to the model. So their supports can be rather rough and not always ideal. That said there's a HUGE wealth of models on offer and the sculpts themselves are great. Plus many of the models often come with a few poses (two or three) so that really adds to what you get out of it!
Frozen Wasteland this month with a massive undead mammoth which gets even bigger with a giant rider atop in a standing pose; its a massive model! There's also some cool ghost spirits, wolves, armoured bear, and more. You can see the months release in their banner and in their newest addition pack to their MMF (links above). MMM release are always fantastic with some really great pre-supports (which normally arrive around the 20th or so of the month). I'll also say that there's a good community on their Discord (linked from joining their patreon) with a lot of help on offer for printing issues and such and, at the start of the month, some good streaming of the supports being added to the models.
I've been backing MMM for longer than I've had a printer and been super impressed with the model stls every month. I've got a huge backlog of stuff to get around to printing. They've also updated the 3 and 6 month loyalty models this month as well!
Another great patreon with fantastic sculps and good pre-supports; again this months are shown in their patreon banner and the water elemental is supremely awesome to see in stl. It's also been cut for printing in a way that separates the water from the physical on the model and I've seen at least one person print the "body" parts in a hard resin and the water in a clear resin which looks great when combined. This is one that I've not actually supported long and I kick myself for it because there is some great stuff in their archives that I want. Certainly one that I'm likely to support well into the long term.
Beautiful sculpts with great supports, I've actually manged to get a few of these printed this month (before cold related issues have put my out of action in printing for a bit till I resolve them). The models have a fantastic charm to the designs and fantastic quality. Another showing some of this months in their banner, the glimmer dragon has a great pose and face meanwhile the mandrilcore (shown below) is a freaky mix of critters in one deadly package - the small details on the insectoid parts really show what 3d printing can achieve at the high end - and those spikes are sharp!
Perhaps one that I won't stick with long term, if only because they go for more of the busts and larger scale models than I tend to engage with. However there's a couple of cool fantasy model hold-overs from last month released this month (also in the banner) and I also wanted their Oleana the Werewolf Queen model; which is part of their welcome pack and cheaper than getting on her own. So for me a good month for a one-time punt. Great models and good looking supports (not printed as yet). I'll wait and see what's previewed and such for next month and might stick around or not; this might be one that I dip in and out of; but is certainly a great one if you like busts and large scale models.
Loving their alien-xenos designs and their 1000 patreon pledge model is still up for grabs and is, to my eyes, a fantastic xenos-queen of blades style model that I couldn't pass on. Also note that this month it seems that both Feb and March are rolled into one which means it also includes a bunch of genestealer cults style models as well (with another fantastic queen style model that you can see on their MMF). NOTE do check the patreon messages after signing up to this one as that's where the months links and such are given to you; the "my pledge" manage page has links that don't quite work and not all the links. Not sure why its setup like that, but just check your messages and you should be fine Note that each month in general there's both a sci-fi and fantasy release for this patreon; so there's a bit for everyone.
I'm actually not into this one yet, but chances are before the end of the week I will be. If not actually for this months theme, but for their welcomepack and throwback models which includes several dragons and a huge hydra with perhaps the most heads I've seen on a hydra model. They rank well and from what I've heard make solid sculpt with good supports.

There's a long thread that collates all the patreons people find in the 3D printing subsection; this one is only different in that I'm theming it around this months releases (and also likely previews on next months stuff as they appear).
It's a long video but worth watching through; you can at least get an idea of what's out there for this month. Something might catch your eye
I actually think maybe a monthly thread each time could be better.
Definitely easier to reference back to find stuff from a month.
It was only because I was looking for good quality pictures of a Titan Forges all patreon stuff to save that I did a search but I tk the thread was quite long.
(I’ve found going through patreon looking for each months posts is a lengthy process too when they’ve sited a lot of times like some patreon have.)
Yeah some patreons are better than others, some keep everything set to hidden unless you're signed up which can make it hard to work out what is in a specific month's release. Others keep things far more open and its easier to see what you do and don't get. That's a little bit of why I made this thread, I've already spotted a few in the ones I'm signed up to where there are things you might not be aware of which are accessible/have come out for this month.
Then it’s just a case of working out scale (heroic or not for instance) with other things.
Titanforge looks to fit with GW style, but a lot of these look more realistic proportions.
Good to have a mix of offerings in that sense.
I've found with Titanforge that they don't look too bad next to older Warhammer stuff, their Vampire Hunters for instance scaled quite nicely with the GW Empire plastics (the female ones were a little on the thin side, but still looked in scale). For AoS armies you might want to print at 110-115% scale, though their supports should still work fine with that increase.*
I've also found that you can sort of approximate a true-to-heroic scale change by unlocking the x, y and z scale values from one another in the slicer and playing with that ratio a bit. I turned one of Clay Cynaide's 35mm true scale vampires from last month into a 28mm heroic-ish mini to better fit for DnD by going 110% on x and y, and 95% on z. Won't work for everything, especially if there's any distinctly geometric shapes on the mini like cubes or spheres that'll look noticeably deformed, but it can work quite nicely.
*Unrelatsd, but pertinent to the thread, Titanforge's release this month is a killer, especially for anyone doing Arthurian or Bretonnia themed stuff. Modular foot and mounted knights, a Merlin-esque druid, epic Green Knight and Lady of the Lake homages. They also just kicked off a new collab scheme that pits one of their minis against a guest from another creator, this month it's their monster hunter up against a giant Rat Ogre from Archvillain games, complete with a diorama base and 5e DnD rules. All in all, pretty great value.

Funnily enough it’s those exact hunters I was looking at and comparing to my Empire army.
I just wish in Patreon you could buy prior months stuff at the patreon price rather than it then being individual files for sale.
I’ve only just started looking into files for printing so missed so much that they’ve done, coupled with the fact I’m paying for them to be printed too then it soon mounts up the cost.
I’ll check out that comparison in detail, see which companies fit for what uses.

Many of the patreons have merchant tiers so you can get the models direct from a merchant if you want; though if you get the stls you can have them printed for you and also print them yourself if your situation changes and you get your own printer.
As for past releases it varies. Some, like Epic Miniatures, put their old stuff up each month through Throwbacks. Sometimes they choose and sometimes there are patreon votes for what comes back each month. Others simply do through through stores like MMF though often being part of the patreon (even at low levels) can get you somewhre between 30 and 50% off coupons. I know some also do short term sales too so its worth to be in their social media and patreon and such to get notified if they are doing a big sale where they might put more off than even the patreon discount.
Wow, that's a pretty exhaustive compilation! So you do this every month? It seems like it from looking at the channel video history. Not to try and add to your workload but you may want to add Loot Studios to the list as they put out some incredible quality miniatures in their monthly subscription but IIRC don't use patreon.
I will add on - anyone who is looking at getting into the Covens side of drukhari, Edge Miniatures: The Cursed Dimension is absolutely worth a look. They're a very new patreon just a couple months old, and so far 100% just covens content.
This month they have 6 different (and I mean reallly REALLY different) styles of Haemonculus. They also have amazing looking Wracks, Talos, and Grotesques, all with swappable arms and some totally modular (the talos in particular are incredible, three diferent torsos with tons of spikes and arms and groobles to swap and mix and match)
I'm looking forward to seeing where they go as the months roll on. My main frustration with model patreons has been...I do generally actually care which faction my models are intended for. So having one that's explicitly Drukhari based is a big thumbs up from me.
"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"
Always worth mentioning Makers Cult if you're a 40k player with a printer.
Their most recent army they're releasing is a mix of admech and tyranid, the Iron Hive.
Everything is modular and has a variety of options, and was specifically designed to be able to be cross compatible with the plastic nids- a very cool touch.
The giant priestess can work as a Cawl stand in, a Magos, a Hive Tyrant, or whatever you wish (and has a bunch of options as well).
Worth noting is there are no single piece monopose figures to print- you have to build everything yourself!
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

If you want 40K, there are tiers of how high quality the content is.
Top tier is The Makers Cult, Aphyrion, Edge Miniatures, Atlan Forge & Pipermakes
Mid Tier is Anvil Digital Forge, Imperitum Art, Bulwark Gaming, II Gargoyles Studio, & Space Legats
Bottom tier is Ghamak, Geargutz, Flesh Crafters Coven, One Page Rules, Rageous Creations, Fable Table, Dark Foundry Miniatures, ThatEvilOne, Helforged Miniatures, & Laserforge Miniatures
Dark Foundry I'd say varies depending what you're looking at - their Necrons I'd say are certainly well into mid to upper tiers. Some of the others vary a fair bit in style and design.
Certainly their larger necrons look really nice and once my printer is running again I'll complete casting one - and they've got some really neat looking beasties coming next month!
Focuses more on 75mm and 178mm model sculpts, however these are really outstanding looking. When you subscribe to Patreon you get last months and the current month's models. That's both a large scale and a chibi scale model per month.
Last month was Kerrigan Queen of Blades and this month is Tyrande. Starcraft being what it is and me being a big fan I couldn't pass on a Queen of Blades done oh so well!
is the place to go for chibi stuff Heriberto Valle Martinez has a massive selection of minis available to download at his patreon
(As Tom Anders from Impact! Miniatures who partners with him on some kickstarters says
"Recommendation to get the most bang for your buck. Subscribe for one month at the $12 reward level. This will give you 100% access to everything Capsule Chibi has made since December 2017. Make sure that month to download all the Impact Capsule models made over the years and any ZTL files you want to do your own conversion work to if you use Zbrush.
At the end of the first month ... leave your reward level at $12 if you want full access to the back catalog as well as all new models that are made.
If you'd like to save money on your monthly subscription ... change your reward level to the $5 level for your 2nd month. The $5 reward level will give you access to all the files past and present on Capsule Chibi except the Impact Capsule and ZTL files.
As of today, if you subscribe to the $12 reward level, you will have access to 555 different Chibi models through the Capsule Chibi Patreon. (or 2 cents per a model). A deal unlike any on the internet.")

The Teknops on their own I'd happily rank as mid-tier - their slightly awkward design stops them being top - they tend to have to do a lot of repairs and file alterations. The aquatic Chaos space marine stuff is about on par with ThatEvilOne and the like though, it's just a bit naff in both concept and execution, whilst the new guy they've got in to do Spartanians isn't as skilled as the older guy was. So overall, his leaving slid it down from 'mid' to 'low' in my eyes.
I'd actually pay just for the Teknops guy's stuff and be happy with it. The rest of the team is riding his coat tails a bit now, I wouldn't even bother with a subscription if he wasn't there.
Their Patreon is only £3 a month as well so its very cheap (actually one of the cheapest I've seen considering the overall level that their sculpting is at). They also sell the physical models of the stls through their main site as well, so if you're not into 3D printing you can pick up the same models direct from them.
