Has anyone else had this problem?

Ive only had my anycubic photon for amout 3 weeks, but when I try slicing a file on chitubox it gets 50-75% through and then just shuts itself down (no error message).

this appears to be regardless of the file, if i add supports or not, if I try to repair the file or not, where I save the file (different drives) if I uninstall and reinstall.

what am I missing?

What's your computer's spec? You might be running out of memory.

Generally, writing gcode is CPU intensive, but I doubt you have anything less than Pentium 4 as per developer's required system specs to run chitubox.

Some older versions of Chitubox were pretty crashy.
You got the newest version from their website or are you using one that was provided on the stick with the printer?

Anycubic provides its own software. I’ve recently installed Chitubox for my Mono and it seems to work fine without hanging pathway through a slice.

You could try the old favourites. Uninstall and reinstall, or try and update all your drivers.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I started with Chitubox 1.5 and it worked perfectly. However, each upgrade seemed to give me issues (mostly in the support function) where it would crash and close a lot. I always kept the 1.5 version as a backup, but it seems the latest 1.8.1 seems stable.

But, I still keep 1.5 just in case...
