I'm trying to build a 1,000 point ork army that's relatively diverse. I didn't wanna boy spam ect. Any help? I was thinking a Warboss on warbike as the warlord but I'm even unsure about that!

I think it depends on what you're aiming to do. Orkz are amazing for the fact they can do near ANYTHING* in their army

Did you want to go mechanised heavy with trukks, battlewagon and buggies? How about biker swarm? Dredd mobs with Killa Kans and mega armoured mek cackling madly in the middle?

What kind of theme or idea appeals most?

Then secondly - how "powerful" did you want the list? In 9th buggy builds are stong and the green tide is also fantastic. elite ork lists (not spamming MAN's) tend to fall a bit flat, but for casual play they're good enough and hilarious fun to play!

I think dredd mob feels the most appealing, although I know its not great! Either that or trukks and buggies. I'd love to buy some buggies actually!

Buggies... I recommend old imperial tanks from eBay. Get a load of them cheap. Get a battle wagon and a truck ork kit, and use all the extra bits to convert the tanks to whatever you want, trucks or wagons. So you should end up with a few hundred points of vehicles of different types. Buy about 60 boys, 60 grots, and sure a bike boss or ... use what you got and build your own.
