Recently had to special order some Noise Marine Sonic Weapons.
Were they in good condition? Nope!

Each rifle has a 30 degree bend in what should be a straight rectangular barrel.
My question is: "how do we straighten the weapons, without destroying them?"

When I tried to use a heat gun on bent spears, they bubbled and melted, hence the need to renew my inquiry.

Using a heat gun for bending resin is like nuking a single person. It's overkill. Boil a kettle and pour it into a cup. Dip the component to be straightened into the water for a couple of seconds then bend to shape

I will disagree, in a very specific case. If you get a crafter's heat gun, which is much smaller and generates much lower temperatures than a 'construction' heat gun, it works GREAT. I use it on resin regularly. It's SO much faster and more convenient than heating up water.

I bought mine at a arts & crafts place (Jo Ann Fabric, I think, but I've seen them at Michaels), for like, $14.

Yeah, they sell little heat gun wands at Michael's and other craft stores. They work great for working with resin with 1 consideration.

Resin that is heated like that can release gasses that are toxic. Wear a mask.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.
