Can you use stratagems on a unit in an Auxiliary Support Detachment if you also have a detachment with units from the same subfaction? For example, if I have a Shadowkeepers Contemptor Achillus Dreadnought in an Auxiliary detachment and a Shadowkeepers Patrol in my army, can I use Grim Responsibility (Shadowkeepers exclusive stratagem) or any other Custodes stratagem on that Achillus?

Yes. You may use any stratagems you have access to on any unit that meets the appropriate rules of that stratagem. The detachment the specific unit is in are not relevant.

Note that Tyranid stratagems can only be used on <Hive Fleet> models/units and Chaos Daemon Stratagems can only be used on Chaos Daemon faction units per their respective FAQ documents.

It's actually even more open than that. Tournaments have allowed you to do the equivalent of taking a Solar Watch Patrol, a Shadowkeeper auxiliary and then use Grim Responsibility.

Thanks for the feedback, I figured it was that easy, I was probably just overthinking it. All I remembered was that there were certain restrictions with taking an Auxiliary detachment but I wasn't completely sure what they were.
