I have a couple of odd scenarios with Dark Eldar list building in the new Dex and the Book of Rust, I'd like to check if I'm parsing through things correctly or if I have missed something. Most of this is not a good/competitive idea, I'm just curious about the rules. I'll present an army list and then ask a number of questions to find out what the correct interpretations are. Thank you for your answers in advance.

Army List

Real Space Raid Battalion
Obsessions: Cult of Strife, Black Heart, Dark Creed

HQ
Archon (Warlord) [Black Heart]
Succubus [Cult of Strife]
Haemonculus [Dark Creed]

Troops
5 Wyches [Cult of Strife]
5 Wracks [Dark Creed]
5 Kabalite Warriors [Black Heart]

Patrol
Obsession: Cult of Strife
HQ
Drazhar

Troops
5 Kabalite Warriors [Poisoned Tongue]

Questions

1) Cult of Strife/Book of Rust Rules
....i) Is it legal for the patrol to be declared Cult of Strife even though there are no Cult of Strife units in it?
....ii) If the answer to (i) is "Yes" then does this unlock the stratagems and warlord traits from the Book of Rust?
....iii) If the answers to (i) and (ii) are yes would this allow me to take a Dark Lotus Toxin on the succubus in the Realspace Raid?
....iv) If the answers to (i) and (ii) are yes would this allow me to take Competetive Edge using Alliance of Agony?

2) Codex Rules
....i) Would it be possible to use the Poisoned Tongues Insidious Misdirection stratagem on the Kabalite Warriors in the Cult of Strife detachment, even though there is no Poisoned Tongue detachment?
....ii) Is it permissible to keep the Overlord Aura on the Archon instead of switching it, to allow him to give rerolls to Drazhar?

I think the answer to all of the above questions is yes, but some of them feel like they should be no, so I am assuming I might be missing something.

i) Per the rules in Codex Supplement: Cult of Strife a Cult of Strife detachment is one containing only Cult of Strife, along with Blades for Hire and Unaligned units. The detachment in your list is not a Cult of Strife detachment as it contains no Cult of Strife units and does contain a Poisoned Tongue unit.
ii) The detachment in your list is not a Cult of Strife detachment and therefore does not unlock Cult of Strife stratagems.
iii) You cannot take Dark Lotus Toxin because your army does not have a Cult of Strife warlord.
iv) You may take the Competitive Edge warlord trait because that only requires your character gaining a warlord trait be a Cult of Strife character.
2) Codex Rules

i) No. Per the rules on sub-faction Stratagems you must have either Kabal detachment or a Realspace Raid detachment with Poison Tongue as the Kabal to gain access to the Kabal stratagem.
ii) It is permissible as you can as opposed to being required to replace the Overlord ability.

Ahh, I was using the codex method for detachments. Wouldn't it still be a Cult of Strife detachment, as per the Codex rules (page 49), but simply ineligible for the Book of Rust stuff?

iii) You cannot take Dark Lotus Toxin because your army does not have a Cult of Strife warlord.

Doesn't the Realspace Raider rule override this and allow a relic from any of the three obsessions to be selected?

iv) You may take the Competitive Edge warlord trait because that only requires your character gaining a warlord trait be a Cult of Strife character.

Is there not a restriction in the book of rust (don't have my copy to hand) that prevents this without a Cult of Strife detachment?

Thanks, found the rule! I must have read past it a dozen times.

No. It would be a Wych Cult detachment as you get to select that per the Codex. You do not get to select it as a Cult of Strife detachment. That happens only if the follow the applicable rules for such a detachment in Book of Rust.

iii) You cannot take Dark Lotus Toxin because your army does not have a Cult of Strife warlord.

Debatable. I think the wording between the codex and the supplement are slightly different.

iv) You may take the Competitive Edge warlord trait because that only requires your character gaining a warlord trait be a Cult of Strife character.

No. It is very clear in the book.
