Finally decided to start some Space Marines.

I'm thinking of calling them the Abyssal Hunters, though I'm still fluxing on name, colour and logo.

Any thoughts, C or C?

The marking seem a bit big for the model.

Overall, very monochrome. That might just be the bike talking, with it’s large blocks of color. But it seems the only thing that is not black/blue is the sarge’s helmet. I might try to add a secondary color to help liven things up a bit. Although how you base might also work there. But changing the shoulder trim, bolter casing, and/or holsters/pouches could add some visual detail.

It’s not bad, just my thoughts on what I might change.

Thank you Nevelon! I think you've nailed exactly what was bothering me about my test scheme but couldn't quite pinpoint I'm trying a couple of new things now.

Oh Canada!

Agree that the insignia feels too big, and the circlular shape is also clashing with the very blocky, brutalist design of the bike. Maybe try a triangle or diamond?

For secondary colours yellow-orange would be the natural fit, or the rusty-rose-red of the insignia's background. That particular gradient showing up only in the iconography is also a bit jarring - tying it into the model by repetition will help it feel like it belongs. Or shift the insignia's background to match the yellow-orange lights/lenses.

Digging the cyan-blue with purple shadows though, looks good enough to eat!

Yeah you've already got some orange in there on those little recessed panels on the bike. Try using that a bit more.

I really like the big markings, but I agree that you could use a bit more orange

I agree with everything posted before me. I especially like the fade from purple to blue you have going in areas.

My main suggestion would be a bit more color variance as previously stated by other, specifically some more greys and/or blacks if you want a darker theme, or the bright orange if you want more splashes of bright to attract the eye. First and foremost in my mind is the weapon casings. I suggest muted black or grey to really drive home the darker feel of the scheme you seem to be going for, then use that bright orange on power coils and power weapon fields to really make them pop. Non-standard for Imperium of course, but orange energy and power fields looks good on several Necron armies I've seen. Could also do purple instead if you would prefer to use more of that color. I've seen several great examples of purple plasma coils and power weapons.
