The moo is kinda wasted on a 1000 point board. You still use the small board so his ability basically doesn't work. Your cadian list is probably better but catachan are better at playing the game in 9th because their abilities work even if you move.

Thanks for the input. I'll think about swapping him out for something.

The armies are quite light on infantry - might be tricky to hold objectives!

True. I've been working on a new Catachan list. I think their doctrine is just really powerful right now. (for the guard at least)
