It seems GW is launching another campaign to get newbies into the hobby. It reminds me of the book reading quests I used to do in primary school.
It'll come with some merch, including a figure case.
I imagine they're going to be keeping existing hobbies from joining in so as not to just give away free merch. So that rules all of us out
Maybe I can get away with a funny moustache

I imagine most experienced players could probably fill out the 30 steps without ever leaving the store just based on their prior work alone.
So opening it to experienced players would just result in them giving away free cases and other merch.

I agree, sounds like there's a lot of sensible objectives as well.
My local GW once launched an gaming style "achievement" system. It was a bit of a failure as most of the achievements they had were essentially just buy stuff and it never hooked anyone as a result.

Yeah I really got going with my local GW beginners program.
They started one just after Xmas, started with a big building event and following game, then continued with a slow grow games day (every sunday iirc).
So I definitely see the appeal for newbies and think this could be pretty good for them

They could exclude most vets by only allowing you to sign up with thr store manager's permission (like you need stamps to complete stuff).
Sure people could still lie and pretend and the managers are unlikely to be very judicious, but it'd keep most people away.

My bets on a bookmark bottom right.
I don't think top left is a note book, I can't see any paper. My guess is a wallet thingy for your Battle Honour cards.

There's no markings on the thing bottom right, just the Warhammer logo. Definitely a bookmark imo.
A notebook isn't impossible, it'd certainly fit as cheap merch they can slap the Warhammer logo on for 1/10th of a penny in China.
Certainly not a purpose designed army roster though, you gotta buy the app for that.
