Thinking about this armylist with the new thousand sons codex:

SUPER HEAVY DETACHMENT * custom household: abominable constitution + Harrying packs

LOW: Wardog: Thermail spear, chain cleaver, meltagun (warlord: Infernal quest)
LOW: 2x wardog moirax : graviton pulsar, rad cleanser, seige claw
LOW: 2x wardog moirax : graviton pulsar, rad cleanser, seige claw

VANGUARD DETACHMENT * Thousand sons Cult of diplicity

HQ: Daemon Prince, wings and talons. Psychic powers: Sorcerous facade + temporal surge (warp time)*
(*RELIC: I do not know, yet. Lot's of good options but it might be the teleport crystal or the 2+ save and enemy units cannot allocate half of their attacks in close combat-relic.)

ELITE: Chaos contemptor dreadnought, 2x twin volkite blasters, cyclone missle launcher
ELITE: Chaos contemptor dreadnought, 2x twin volkite blasters, cyclone missle launcher
ELITE: Chaos contemptor dreadnought, 2x twin volkite blasters, cyclone missle launcher

FA: 5x spawn
FA: 4x spawn

Fl: Helldrake with baleflame
Fl: Helldrake with baleflame

I think this army is pretty tough, fast, decent close combat skills, decent shooting and great at controlling the mid-field. Spawns can run along or are still pretty cheap objective holders. Daemon Prince can let one unit run faster and even switch the smite power for the "give a 4+ inv save spell.."

Contemptor cost a lot of CP's and I might drop one for an extra wardog.

Helldrake are a bit harder to kill first turn (aircraft -1 to hit) but can be great at harassing units when the fly down. Killing them means not shooting at the wardogs or contemptors.

Any input?

Odd seeing a Wardog as a Warlord.

This list will have the usual problems with holding points, being a victim to ObSec, etc. I suspect CPs will be an issue, but this something you're probably aware of.

The Heldrakes - I'm not convinced of their worth. While Goonhammer has been going on about them, stats-wise, they look like flying Helbrutes with less Dakka.

For the Daemon Prince, yes, I would give him the teleport crystal. He will eventually be out in front of your dreads and this is a good way to bridge gaps.

I need a warlord in my super heavy detachment to get the 3CP back. Also infernal quest gives it "count as 10 models with objective secured". So that helps a little with the objectives. I also like to give it the 4+ inv against shooting relic but than I got almost no CP left..

Helldrakes will not likely urn their points back but the got a bit more damage output and can really be flexible. Shooting them means not shooting at the other stuff, and not shooting them means they keep pestering.

Daemon Prince already got the ' teleport' psychic power and he cannot use the new "warptime" power on itself. So If I want to get in close combat I still need to charge from far away outside deepstrike range. I could use the crystal to teleport, let the spawns outflank and move again with the new warptime and assault. But that is a lot of trouble for a decent spawn attack.
