In the warp, searching for Marbo

I'm bringing a Angel list in a casual match against melee heavy Necron, and I don't know what to expect. So I'm just throwing up my list and looking for a little feed back as to what a 1000pt fighty necron list might include. Also, how effective my loadout would probably be. I have only fought necron once, and it was gunline focused, so I'm not familiar with their wargear. Even though it's a casual game, I don't want to be caught flat-footed.

This is a hell of an alpha strike lol. Still pretty new to 9th edition but also trying out BA so I'll see if I can help!

I'm not sure that a Sang priest can get a power sword. but I'm just checkin wahapedia so I could be wrong.

I think that Lemartes is a bit overkill for making the death company be able to turn 1 charge. You have the strat to move 12, they move 12. the 2d6 re-roll charge gives you about... 10 inches instead of the 7. The double litanies is sweet but since it can only affect death company a smash chaplain on bike seems like it might have better overall output, and might be a bit more versatile.

I think you might struggle with efficiently holding your more backline objectives. Not sure what the right solution for this is, but maybe swapping one of the 5 man tac squads for an intercessor squad? You'd even get some points back that you could turn into more power weapons for your death company.

I feel like the plasma pistol on assault squad is a trap, and generally I feel like assault squads are super inefficient in comparison to vanguard vets. I know you're out of elite spots here... Not sure how you'd fix that... It's a tough one for sure. Maaaybe the dread can be swapped for hellblasters, and if you swap one of the TAC squads out for intercessors then the drop pod will have room. Replacing the dread will mean you don't need the second drop pod, and you can get a nasty vanguard vet squad to escort the sang priest around? Kind of a big change but might still get that fun drop pod alpha strike that you're lookin for.

It's kind of napkin math but -dread -1 tac squad, + 5hellblasters, +5 intercessors gives you 45 points and an elite squad slot... I think

*Edit*, Sorry, hellblasters are primaris so that won't work... back to bein stumped
