Subject: Industrial army display/photo backdrop project
I decided I like scenic shots better than just plain backgrounds, so I set out to making a backdrop that also functions as a display for a future project.
Four cobblestone street pieces (for dioramas and railroads) glued together, the seams given an overpass with Milliput. Some wall filler was applied and textured using a medium sized paintbrush, on top of which modeling bricks were scattered.
A large ruin wall was then made, with some windows blocked using teardrop steel textured plasticard, also found on the ground modeled into bent and damaged sheets. Lastly the whole display was fitted onto a wooden plinth with an attached backdpanel, sanded and painted black. A sheet can be inserted inbetween to make the windows show a red colour, for example. Hope you enjoy.

The bases will be partly fitting, but I will leave the background with darker lighting to give the miniatures more space. And probably partly blurred since that's what tends to happen you have adjust for correct aperture.
