So the idea is to get Anrakyr, the lord, and a largely intact unit of lychguard together in combat. With the relevant strats the Lychguard are looking at 6 attacks each. The chronomancer can veil the other unit up the board to draw fire while the skorpheks and crypto thralls sprint up the board in the same direction. If the thralls can get close enough turn 2 or 3 they might save the chronomancer from getting targeted. Immortals and scarabs hold objectives and do actions as they can. The stalker moves with the big immortal squad and picks targets for them and or the DDA and the destroyer takes pot shots.

I fear the Stalker does not do enough in this melee list.

love it otherwise.

Well, I'd drop Anrakyr or Lord and add a Lokhust Lord with voltaic staff as he is faster and more killy.

One extra attack on the Lokhust Lord with the Voltaic Staff at the same S6 over a regular lord doesn’t seem worth losing the reroll and extra attack per model on the lychguard. And for 5 points less I could give the lord a Rez orb, what’s the actual draw given what I’m trying to do with the list?

Im not sure about the stalker either, but I’m not sure what else would be good for sitting on a mid board objective like that. I need to test the list this week.

Love the list. I am experimenting with something similar. Thoughts on using Night Scythes in 9e to drop the Lychguard further down the board? I love how much damage they can do with warscythes, but I feel like they have a tough time running down targets after they clear through bubble-wrap units (nurglings, cultists, scarabs, etc.)

Necron units are too point expensive whatever you pick. Play for fun mostly.

(compare Lychguard to Sacresants)
