This is really just for fun. I have wanted to make some DIY Stormboyz for awhile now. I started digging through my bits box to see what I could find, plenty of slugga and choppa arms, heads, and some old SM assault marine legs. I was like "sure, why not". I got out all the styrene shapes and sheet I had and started cutting it up to see if this would work. Overall I think it looks good for just using what bits I had on hand, and it's always a good time chopping up styrene to make custom parts.

Oh wow, that is some outstanding styrene-work ! I really need to start working with styrene, seeing how you basically created a whole new model just using a little plastic

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like soup. Now you put soup in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put soup into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now soup can flow or it can crash. Be soup, my friend. |

Nice sculpting work. So many chips, scratches and dents can be tedious. And clever use of the space marine legs, I almost didn't notice.

Thank you. Styrene is so much fun to work with, it is a versatile material. I would suggest getting some styrene sheet and as many different diameters of rod and tube as possible.

Thank you. It really is tedious but it looks so much better in the end. I have decided to do some more of these guys and sat down the other night and cut up a bunch of armor plates and got all the chips and scratches out of the way. So much easier to do a lot at once rather than as needed.

Thank you.
Been working on some more legs and rokkit packs. I also have all the armor and support plates for the rokkit packs made up, just working on some torsos right now.

Thank you.
Got the second one done, I will be upgrading to a larger base, I was able to weigh down the first one but it will still tip over because he is leaning so far forward. Got the next three lined up for assembly, just deciding on what arms and heads to use.
