Hi folks,
I'm very happy to say I've just launched a new Statuesque Miniatures Kickstarter – The Ghosts of Yellowfield House.
The campaign is to fund the release of three ghosts - Eleanor Ganfer, Deirdre and Mr Swither - plus an optional, separate base on which to display them. As with my previous Kickstarters, the production moulds are made, tested and ready to spin. With your help I can order the necessary metal, get casting and send a load of wee ghosts off around the world.
The Kickstarter runs until 11pm BST on Tuesday 5th of October.
Please do take a look – all pledges are very much appreciated. This is the first set of figures where I've done everything myself, from sculpting and printing to moulding and casting, and I can't wait to share them with everyone!

I would just like to say that those are lovely models, and the collection is worthy of a game.

I have to say that these figures are some unpolished gems.
You have a graphic novel with these little guys as the heroes? You should.
The abstract style and the Hunted Mansion vibe I get with these ranks up there with some of Tim Burton fun Halloween snacks movies.
Congratulations on the endeavor.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Thanks Grot. No graphic novel, just fragmented, vague stories in my head.
The Kickstarter is running along nicely, many thanks again to all the backers. I had hoped to show proper photos of the painted ghosts that I finished this weekend, but a busy day and a recalcitrant camera mean I only have this quick desk snap. I tried out a few things when painting them, not sure they all worked, but I did enjoy trying. That's the main thing for me as I sculpted these ghosts to be exactly the kind of miniatures I would enjoy painting - and they are so I'm a happy sculptor and painter.

I finally got the painted ghosts to behave in front of the camera (after a coat of matt varnish).
Here's Eleanor Ganfer from The Ghosts of Yellowfield House Kickstarter. Had a lot of fun painting her, even if I’m not sure the enamel wash worked as well as just lining the figure with thinned acrylic. Still like how she turned out though.

Great to hear, thanks!
Here are all the ghosts, posing nicely for the camera. Really enjoyed painting them, which is just as well since I sculpted them purely to be things I'd enjoy painting!
Kickstarter tells me there are 55 hours to go until the campaign ends on Tuesday at 11pm BST. All pledges much appreciated!

Thanks guys! Really appreciate all pledges. I had no idea how this one would go, so I'm really happy with the result. Now on with the casting!
But for EU and Norway peoples:
With the Kickstarter ended and successful, the ghosts are now available 'made to order' to EU and Norway customers on Etsy. Each sale is just as appreciated and helpful as a Kickstarter pledge.
The ghosts will be available at the Kickstarter prices until Tuesday 12th of October.

Just got my set through today. Absolutely fantastic casts. The only flash is on the underside of the bases, and a doddle to clean off.
Very dinky models, which for only adds to their charm.
Guess I should be thinking about getting them painted!
