I think they intentionally don’t post the full lists. Keeps the fun in the journey and discovery.

I think it would be more of a weird graph than an actual list. It seems to be your number of posts factored against time on dakka in some way to equal your ranking as I've seen people with the exact same number of posts have different ranks.

No, it's exclusively post count AFAIK, although the two obviously tend to correlate. You can choose different ladders with different titles in your profile though.

They are secret though, the reason I've seen is it's felt that the publishing of the ranks and thresholds might encourage spam posting amongst a certainly nnsort of user to try and up their ranks.

There is a thread in the Nuts and Bolts section to recommend new tracks but even there Yakface said he would decide and keep secret the number of posts needed.

Most people only ever edit their profile when they join, long before they know the feature exists.

Moderators have seen them behind the curtain. I never kept track of the lists when I was moderator as I always had my own, and I am sure some will have changed since then.
If you are a really good boy/girl and become a DCM or Moderator you can choose your own.

I had 12+ years ago.

Dozens and dozens of them, with most of the rankings - there were some gaps.
It may have been an attachment or link to check them out/make suggestions.
Likely right back when they were being organized which is why I think it was so long ago.
