Hello! I'm an old wargamer from South Australia. I used to play Tyranids in 2nd ed. (Yes, I'm old.) I'm looking at building a chaos army when I can afford it.

What I mostly want from this forum is people to get excited over 40k stuff with, people who can help me choose a decent army, and potentially find some locals to play against.

Also, there're people with help about buying, since you're at the wrong end of the world to get it for anything less than exorbitant prices. Getting started boxes are nice for that.

Chaos are in a tough spot at the moment while they wait for their new codex (unless you're leaning towards Death Guard or Thousand Sons) so I would say to just pick up some models you lie the look of for now.

I'm an ex-chaos player myself though so I get the appeal for sure!
