TROOPS:
14x DireAvengers + 1 Autarch
10x Guardians NIB

HEAVY:
Wraith Knight (magnetized)

FAST:
3x Hornets with the twin lasers
12x Windriders

Any help or additional purchase ideas would be helpful. Many thanks.

You've got a 'fun' list.

Guide & Doom or Executioner for the Farseer. Jinx/Protect and *sigh* Embolden for the other, but stick to using Smite. Look up Children of Prophet, from one of the 8e suppliments, to help casting powers.

10 pack of Guards is fine, and then 3x5 the DAs.

Both the WK and Lynx are too porky without enough guns to justify their use; that said, if they fit within 2k points, eh, have fun. Field the WK with his Shim-Shield and volume guns, so ScatLas or StarCans.

To get an idea of the present imbalance, there are filthy SM 'Relic Contemptor Dreadnaughts' from FW. They weigh in way less than <200 points, and put out twice the Lynx's fire power. The lynx has 9 shots; the Volkite guns on the RCD pump out 16, similar STR, no AP, 2 damage per wound. And it has a couple more guns.

"Dark Lance" guys? Do you mean Dark Reapers?

Serpents should be near naked ... Windriders are under gunned and over priced, so go near naked.

I think the Yncarne can be good, but in the hands of a really good player (unlike me). I don't play well, but i do know good elvish lists. Unfortunately, Craftworlds are behind the points & gunning curve for 9e armies, 1k Sons, Sisters, DE, AdMech and others that punch hard.

Good news is the rumor mill is running hard with a new 'dex with promising goodies, likely due this Spring. Learn the game's mechanics while getting beat.

Buy a 3D printer. Best investment ever.

Until you find you can't align the stupid things.

I'd play what you have a half dozen times, and identify what helps the game, and what doesn't. Then start replacing the weak stuff. I find my tau playable, I just can't win against a very very competitive list with a good pilot. (i.e. I'll lose by 5 to 10pts every game). Heck my very best tournament list is about as good as a 75% 9th edition codex tournament list. Eldar are in about the same spot slightly better off.

Elegoo Saturn is super easy to use. Just level the build plate and go. Takes five minutes tops. Just gotta read directions.

With new Craftworlds on the horizon I would hold off on new purchases and just have fun with what you have.

I would take the following...

farseer on bike
2 warlocks on bike (separate)

2x5 dire avengers (in one wave serpent)
1x5 dire avengers (in second serpent with dark reapers)
10 guardians (in deep strike)

5 dark reapers (assuming this is what you have) in serpent

3 hornets
2 x 6 windriders

see what points are left and add either the wraithknight or lynx (neither are great, but cool models none-the-less)

Don't bother with Ynnari for time being.

Windriders are horrible. They may wipe away some light chaff units but then next turn they get blasted or charged or both. Not worth having. Maybe next edition when the guns get boosted and if point costs are low.

My MVPs are falcons. Wraithseers. Support cannons (hard to wipe them all off objectives and always getting kills). Hornets are also great. The key with Eldar is outmaneuvering and out scoring your enemy. You wanna be maximizing your presence and firepower in one section of the board. Wiping it clear. Then shifting to the next section. All the while using buildings to shield you from the rest of the army.

Expert crafters and masters of concealment are you friends.
