Finally finished these badboys/girls - 3rd and 4th mini's after 29 years away from painting, and my first Harlequins since 1988...

Sooo...those diamonds are evil. Don't look at them too close - they look ok from a distance, but up close you can see where I spun out of control and at least one of them ended up as a triangle.

Threw in a close up of the finished 'Nebula Blade' for anyone that's interested...

Only tip I have is don't be afraid of 'em.

If you keep your paint thin, you can make as many mistakes as you like (I certainly did) and they're easily corrected with another layer. Eventually, out of a piping hot mess of acrylics, diamonds happen!
