Hey everyone,

Ever since 2013 I'm maintaining the rules hub for Battlefleet Gothic (official rules, non-official rules, magazines, etc).

But I noticed I had no topic on DakkaDakka about it. And since the Space Fleet blast from the past was added yesterday I decided to add a bit here!

In this thread:
https://www.specialist-arms.com/forum/index.php?topic=5203.0

Everything is listed. In bold are clickable links to the folders.

In 2021 there has been really a lot of activity. We saw the release of Book of the Void I: the Discordia Incident, the old BFG revised files are made available again, we released a starter kit with everything you need for starting players (and also convenient for longer time players), the Rak'Gol saw their release (with STL models and rules), Discord released a ruleset on Dreadnoughts, Eldar MMS saw its 2.0 update and a small (typos) update to the Remastered rulebook.

For 2022 the thing to look forward to is the Remastered Fleetbook: a all-in-one book with the fleets and ships from the original rulebook (bluebook), armada (yellow book) and FAQ2010/Compendium2010. No more checking a FAQ for correct point costs: it is integrated. And there are even official FAQ2021 updates to clarify wording. Thus with that release the official rules are completely covered by two delicious books.
Furthermore expect (from the Discord channel): Book of the Void 2: Xenostide, ancient eldar and dark mechanicum. And ofcourse updates to Heresy, XR and other homebrew sets are published whenever I receive/discover them.

Thanks for the link. As of late I have been enamored with BFG, and a central location for rules and the like is a great tool. Once I get a 3D printer up and running, one of the first things that I will be printing out will be a fleet or five.

I've been looking all over to find the original tyranid hive fleet rules. I remember I had the magazine that first published the rules. Really kicking myself since like many valuable things from the Dark Age of Technology (Early 2000s) it has been lost.

Heya,

If you go the rules hub I linked above you'll also find a folder with all the old magazines! Including the experimental Tyranid rules from before Armada!

Thank you very much for posting this. Nice to see there's still a rules hub available for BFG.

More like a golden age IMHO. I am more of an opinion that it will be looked back upon as parts of the Roman Era are today.

And like a good museum the rules hub has preserved more than 95% of that time.

Plus it keeps growing with new stuff. And to it is really easy to start battlefleet gothic these days. There are even more miniatures available than 10 years ago

Are the rules for Battlefleet Gothic: Privateer - the skirmish scale version - on there somewhere? I can't see them.

I believe they were in fanatic magazine but I can't recall which issue(s).

Wasn't that an addition to the fabric of the Imperium rules for Rogue Traders?
