Bought the First Strike box a couple of years ago.. Painted the Space Marines then got discouraged by all of the Death Guard spiky bits. Finally tacked it over the last couple of weeks, mainly painting at night.

Learned a lot from painting these! Recently picked up the 9th Edition Elite Starter box, and I'm looking forward to painting Necrons and more SMs!

Cheap Neweer (Amazon) light box set and a Canon 80D.

What lenz are you using with Canon 80D for minis?
Ive been using 50mm, but its not great.

The 18-135mm that my kit came with. Sometimes it has a hard time with a wide focus area (you can see it on the edges of the SM photo), but overall it's pretty versatile - Hope this helps!
