A thought I have is taking out a TC and adding a couple squads with plasma guns.

If i read the rules correctly you could have the gatekeeper as the first relic and the hammer of sunderence as the extra -1cp relic and a tank ace instead of a warlord trait for full payload manticore. All would be for -2cp to be emperor's fist tank company and that extra relic.
