I've been told there is no counter to this list. What do you think?
It is very easy to counter this.... let the tournament organisation disqualify it for having being an illegal armylist. Battalion needs 2 HQ and 3 Troops....

Disclaimer: this is not based on practical experience and I'm not really knowledgeable with orks:
The list looks pretty light on objective secured bodies. Also I don't see a lot of efficient firepower to remove lots of 1W models (and at least the power claws would be kind of wasted there). So a purely armschair general guess would be: a hoardy IG army that first focusses on the (relatively few) units that are cost efficient at removing T3 W1 models and then sits on objectives to win on points might do the trick. I assume a "hoardy" SoB army should be even better as they are sturdier (and still make the powerclaws waste a lot of their potential).
But as I said: it's a guess, might be completely wrong.

Efficient shooting is all this list has - call speedwaagh turn 1 for +1 shot on dakkaweapons and -1AP on all ranged weapons for bikes and vehicles. Any of the planes or buggies are good contenders to trigger the freebooterz +1 to hit. After this the bikes have 324 shots at BS 4+, s5, AP-1 (plus whatever buggies/planes haven't shot yet). Trukk boyz and kommandos are also an almost sure fire turn 1 charge. Alpha strike, then mop up objectives at your leisure.
This looks like a solid take on speedwaagh now that the first wave of buggy nerfs have landed from the balance slate - I wouldn't be surprised to see points hikes hit some of them too so this list might be a case of enjoy it while it lasts. As for counters available right now, variations of the Tyranid hive guard spam would do alright (very strong shooting out of LOS), getting 1st turn with any other alpha strike list would also be a solid start.
You are severely overestimating 10x trukk boys or even 10x kommandos offense potential if you expect them to alpha strike and then mop up.
I mean even 1500 pt list is going to be able to handle them…
3x Shokkjump dragsta can have issues finding a place to jump in coherency and 9in away from the enemy with the kbbs and bikes taking up most of the free board space.
It’s a good list for the point size but it’s likely not unbeatable.

It's not even that optimized. 3 Shokkjump dragast for example are bad, they are ok (at most) as a single model. 10 boyz on foot are also not optimal. This list is ok for casual gaming, in tournaments it has its potential but I think it could be mid tier at most.
Also, no squigbuggies and koptas?
Freebooterz can be very competitive, but there are definitely better lists based on this archetype.
I actually don't believe the list is unbeatable. I brought it to a game recently and my opponent insisted that I was power gaming and that if I brought it to a tournament I would go undefeated.
I thought they might have been overreacting in the moment, but now everytime I see them, they're talking about how stupidly broken it was. I don't frequent tournaments anymore (there aren't really any in my area) so I couldn't really say anything. I was looking for a list that I could point to as an example of what might beat this list.
I started the thread with "unbeatable" in the title because I figured it would get more traction than just saying "what do you think of this list".
@Fezzick Yes there is a forum for list building, but this is also a tactic thread, therefore this forum isn't out of place. It may have been "better" in the other forum, but does it really matter?
Well as points drop (I beleive this is 1500) skews become harder… in this case 2x wazboms is a pain to shift as there is likely little anti air to deal with them and other vehicles and buggies.
But as I said I’d drop a shokkjump and take a squigbuggy with nitro squig.
I’d drop both kbb and take 2x scrapjets which benefits significantly more from freebooter then kbb..
I’d drop the 10x boys on foot and take 5x more kommandos and give both kommando squads squig bombs. 5x kommandos in cover and significantly harder to shift then basic boys plus gives you much more pressure turn 1 to go along with the trukk boys.
I’m also more of a fan of the warboss on bike with BBK and killaklaw then a barebones wartrike…but you can go either way.
The design of the list is strong. As it’s using the strongest ork units shoved into a smaller point game and for more casuals players it’s going to be hard to deal with all those cheap buggies and aircraft but it’s not unbeatable when faced with other tier 1 lists.
