OK, maybe it's not clear enough in the title. What it means here is: make new Sisters into something NON-Church Army.

In most cases, people want to conversion the something non-Sisters(third-party miniature kits) into a Sisters of Battle.but now we get many new SoB kits of GW, and them looks great..

but not anyone love those gothic space warrior-nun.

personally, i perfer and want make a group of female soldiers in Power-armor, but not gothic warrior-nuns, not even formal Imperial forces from 40k era.
Perhaps they are the unique militia force of the 30K era(with survivors of dark ages provenance).in this case, Compared with Gothic nuns, they are more Steampunk or diesel punk aesthetic.

so any ideas? Besides just simply removing the imperial and church symbols?

Austria

easiest is to get 3rd party Marines or similar power armour and use with female heads

or going with one of the 3 Raging Heroes female non-nun Sisters

using the GW models and removing the church theme and you end up with GW Marines, specially on the vehicle side and could just use those and add SoB bits

Harry, bring this ring to Narnia or the Sith will take the Enterprise
