I like Hector Rex more than I used to, I think he's an interesting pick now. Starting with 5 CP is really bad. I'd look really hard at each relic and warlord trait and find one of each to drop. You're also losing out on the wound regen from Mechanicus by including Rex.

Yes I decided to drop Seneschal for 7cp although you don't lose the wound regen because I'm paying a cp to but Hector in an super heavy aux detatchment seperate from the others
