If you're trying to be more competitive, I'd probably drop the aetherstride sorcerer for an Infernal Master, ditch the cultists and solo spawn and see if you can get the terminator squad up to 10 - then throw your buffs onto that and use it to control a whole area of the board.

The punchy sorcerer is fun, but in any type of competitive game he's just going to die immediately and you'll be lucky to trade up in points. I'd put surge on Ahriman so you can cast it reliably when you really need it even without cabal poiints, then stick glamour on the Infernal Master.

This list is begging for Crystal instead of relic disc. You'll want to teleport 2 units with this sort of list.

I have run the assassination sorcerer with scrolls but i have learned that he needs Gaze of Hate instead of Doombolt. Took me two tournaments to learn that. I always had trouble getting that last little bit on a character that needs to be sniped. Slap Doombolt on something else, or swap into it as an appropriate target presents itself.
