So after a few years off of the hobby I decided to get back into the painting side of things. I want to get a mini to build as a present for my mom. She likes trees so I was looking at sylaneth, but they all seem a little aggressive for her. I was basically just wondering if anybody knows about any non-scary, non-sexy minis that an old woman would like lol

Hmm, some of the Idoneth/Lumineth characters like the Tidecaster, Calligrave, Windmage or Stonemage are really pretty and non-threatening (YMMV, of course)?

Those are the original listings of it as a 3D model, shown so that you know what you're looking for. If you don't own your own 3D printer (which as you're just getting back in I will assume you don't) then hit up Etsy and search for "forest dragon model" or "forest dragon 3D print" and also put the creators name "mini monster mayhem" into it as well.

Those 3 terms should find you more than a few merchants selling it as an actual printed model.

Have you looked into Redwall - esk theme minis. They very nature bound and cute.

Why not get a bust? You can get plenty of busts of historical figures or fantasy type stuff that isn't overly aggressive.
