Hello Everyone


I've had a lot of issues with fighting off one of my friends chaos daemons army, and he's currently looking at playing a game with the be'lakor army of renown, disablign rerolls to hit, and giving everything greater than 12 inchies a -1 to hit. This is a 2k point game, and he has large squads of bloodletters (25 models). What should I do about killing them? I was thinking trying to take Sternguard with flamers, or something like that might be my best bet. At the same time, I have to deal with Be'lakor.

My first instinct was to think about melee, since the -1 to hit seems really problematic, except with the flamer build (which seems really expensive for non-obsec infantry), but I don't think I have enough attacks to actually thin his hoardes. I think I might just get wiped on his fight back phase.

What would y'all suggest for handling this? I'm not terribly tied down to specific chapters, but I usually play dark angels, iron hands, or ultramarines (or a successor of one of them). Thank you.
