Subject: Necron reanimator size compared to destroyer?
I really like the reanimator model but not the rules so I’d like to find an alternate use for it. Can any of you tell me how much taller it is than a destroyer?
I’m thinking of converting one into a destroyer.
Any other suggestions on what to use it as?

I think the only model you could realistically proxy it as without chopping off it's legs is the Doomstalker. They're more or less exactly the same model with a different gun thing on their back. Destroyers are on the small flight stand with a large flight base, so you'd have to dramatically reduce the height to play a Reanimator as one.

Google is helpful, just look for Necron Doomstalker vs Reanimator for the height and base size of both models
Spoiler:
The biggest Destroyers use a 60mm base.

Oh wow! I didn't realize there was such a size difference even though they look almost the same otherwise. It honestly never even occurred to me that might be the case since I was just comparing their images. In that case, I don't there's really anything a Reanimator could really proxy outside of the most casual of games. It'd be like trying to play a Whirlwind as a Landspeeder in the case of the Destroyer or as a Landraider in the case of the Doomstalker. Either way, it's not really a good fit.
