Decided to pick up a Leviathan but only going to get one set of weapons with it. Hoping someone with experience, using or facing, would be able to recommend a good set of basic arms for this chonky fellow? Might magnetize and late on add more options but wanting to know what a safe starting set would be.

Storm cannon and claw is a good all-rounder.
Personally I like the grav flux bombard, but only because it's unique and cool looking. It's not bad but it has limitations in the current rules. Really maybe I should give it another look it's been so long lol.
--edit-- yeah it's not amazing, but it is fewer points. Still storm cannon is the way to go mathematically (or dual storm cannon)

Thanks for the response. I believe I'll go with double Storm cannon. I was going to do storm cannon + claw but my other dreadnoughts are already set up like that so might as well mix it up a bit. It is also aesthetically pleasing. Hopefully.

Definitely recommend you magnetize. It's super easy on the Leviathan.

Oh yeah absolutely magnetize. Mega easy on this kit and it’s expensive enough to be worth it

I have a Leviathan I use all the time with my TS. You want to magnetize because the load outs are going to change. The double storm cannon is good, but is becoming more and more limited by the -1 damage abilities. For TS I like fist + bombard. That is because TS don't have a whole lot of CC and the fist allows for him to be a threat in CC, and the bombard is good for hitting vehicles or elite or heavy infantry/bikes etc. which TS struggles with. If you are using him in a different army maybe something different, but this has worked for me.
