Thanks! I have read more, Umbra can do Sith like stuff Read where one caused the death of a remote pilot by touching the head of her battered mech and sent a feedback electrical jolt from his hand that hit her brain in her station area where she actually was. So, yeah, nasty Sith-Umbra.

Have to make a "glow" in his hand to now show the power!

More pics of him coming, but first, Colonies need supplies, not just shelters, so for all medical needs from emergency kits to surgical suites and first aide supplies, Medco has your colony covered.

For food items as well as all material needs, Astro-Materiel/Logistics Incorporated will help you get your colony off to a good start

And to help with other needs, Power Infusion-Distributors will also help make your colony lit, glowing, and welcoming on those alien nights, at least until they change to your own home nights.

Okay, the Axanar D-6 cruisers arrived, at just over 3inches, they seem so small. then I had them next to other 1/2500 scale Klingon ships. They came in a translucent sturdy material.

Those new ones look pretty cool. I'd have been tempted to leave one 'cloaked' though.

Another day older; another day closer to death ...

I considered it, but the Axanar or 4yrs War the Klingons had cranked out ships to fight, and they did not seem to worry about cloaking so I went full military with these.

Looks good! Did you get them from shapeways or the official axanar rewards? Any thoughts on how you're going to use them on the tabletop? (I.e. STAW, FASA, SFB, etc)

Glad you like the work on them, I got them from shapeways, they are 1/2500 scale, I lost both my FASA and SFB rules a ways back, so I would have to get rules for star ships to play with them on tabletop. Had I known of the Axanar rewards for helping fund their project, I would have a 1/1000 scale D6 and maybe even an Ares kit in the same scale.

I may have to also look at STAW and see how that works

I almost bought the 1/4000ish scale Ares and D6 they had as rewards but couldn't bite the bullet in the end for a couple of different reasons... but I was very tempted! As for STAW, if you've played X-wing ever then the rules should be familiar since it's a licensed version of the core rules. They've added a few things (like reverse speed and faster speeds), changed some of the names around (focus is called battlestations or something), and generally most ships can use more than one crew but the core rules and mechanics are the same.

Interesting about the rules, and the Ares and D6 were definitely 1/1000 scale same as my Polar Lights D7's and my UGH! models D4 and Enterprise era BoP frigate
and my 1/1000 K' Tinga

I also had to work on the 1/1000 scale K' Tinga as the rersin seemed alone to be unable to handle the weight of the pod section. So to help it from drooping, I took it off, drilled the two sections, and that I have that support rod to shore up and make the neck stay away from looking like a wilted flower.

The 1/2500 scale fleet likely will grow,,,,,FOR THE EMPIRE! Old Klingon zeal is fired up. I do have the smaller 1/1000 scale fleet, but then again, those take up quite a bit of room! Speaking of the 1/1000 scale fleet, the K' Tinga work

I can see close up the spots that need some more attrention, the decals wqere not as easy to put on, but they are mostly where they need to be, and as intact as possible.

Waiting on another shipment to come today, I hope. Beaver WV Fedex truck likes to dodge their job.
But got stuff from Multiverse Models in Okalhoma, good guy, and I got a free pen as well.

Decals galore ordered.

Even dual sized decals as the D-32 could be a BIG 1/2500 scale beast, or smaller sneaky 1/1400 scale light ship.

I am waiting on the plastic cadet series kit for the D-7 as the M-4 Strike Cruiser needs the impulse grills/warp engines/and boom.
[/img]

Physically, it will look like this, he used the brighter colors for image making, but mine will be in greens like all my Klingons.

Nice work, quick too. You certainly are cranking these out. Quite cool how the parts etc are available and you can build a sizeable force. Have you thought of the magnetic ball joints for these, so you can play a little with the angles of the mount.

I had, but the neodiniums are an extra cost, I may have to try them later and modify the mountings,

Anyway some fluff

Klingon M-4 Strike Cruiser
[/img]
[/img]

This cruiser is a lighter, smaller variant using D-7 components, but due toi the re-design is faster and more maneuverable due to the smaller size and weight reduction. It maintains the 9 disruptor mounts, 2 torpedo tubes and 4 heavy disruptor cannons(engine fronts) of the D-7. but relies on it's nimbler ability to avoid getting hit by enemy fire. This cruiser is made for rapid hit and run attacks, as well as slipping past defense perimeters for commerce raiding as well as landing troops for command missions(Klingon style of course).

The M-4 shows that the Klingon Empire does seem to try and make innovations with their technology just like the Federation or the Romulans. That in peace time the M-4 also makes superb border patrol ships and anti-piracy hunter ships is a testament to it's well crafted design.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Another Klingon cruiser that surprised the Federation in it's design was the D-32 combat cruiser. using a fixed wing in attack position but a more solidified hull, the D-32 is armed with 2 heavy disruptor cannons, as well as 8 disruptors of high output, and a photon torpedo launcher forwards firing a high yield torpedo. This unconventional design showed the Federation that the Klingons had some gifted engineers in the Empire. It still however has the bridge in a forwards setting. Like a Bird Of Prey style ship, the warp and impulse eng8ines are inside the main hull. meanbing the central sections are engines and reactor, the crew are quartered in the outer reaches of the hull.

D-32 is from Multiverse Models.
