Hi!

I currently have 19 power of Slaanesh. That's the starter box plus a Masque. But I want to collect multiple armies at once. Just found out the WH40k starter box with the full rules, terrain and 2 army forces has 19 power of Necrons and 16 power of Marines.

My question is: Is there a small Marines unit worth 3 power to bring them to 19? I don't have the codex yet (nor the starter box), but I'm trying to figure out how to get 19 power for the Marines... If there's nothing at 3 power, could I replace a Starter unit with something of +3 power?

The box has:

Primaris Captain – 5 power
5 Assault Intercessors – 5 power
3 Outriders – 6 power

What's the best way to get to 19? Halp!

(I'll eventually buy the Necrons and Space Marines codexes. Just... Not yet. And if it matters, I was thinking Space Wolves. )

Thanks!

Somewhere in Canada

Some Old Marine stuff...

Company Champion
Company Veterans
Landspeeders, Including the Storm.

Oh, and you never need books for PL.

OMG thank you! That is incredibly useful!

Probably go with a Landspeeder. Thanks!

If you want to stay Primaris you could also get a Primaris Lieutenant. There's even one that "matches" the Primaris Captain

Right now he's only retail available here:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Space-Marines-Honoured-Of-The-Chapter-2021

But you can probably find a Single bits sale on ebay

If you swap the Outriders for the three Bladeguard you stay at 19. The difference between 19 and 20 isn't very much.

Plus you're likely to expand collections beyond 19PL anyway.

If you're really looking for something I'd go with: https://www.amazon.com/Games-Workshop-WARHAMMER-40000-INDOMITUS/dp/B08C93ZGKK/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2WLIW30O2YRWR&keywords=Indomitus&qid=1647684635&sprefix=indomitus%2Caps%2C137&sr=8-2 instead of the starter box.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

I reckon a fun – and somewhat less restrictive – way to go with it is to look at bumping both forces up to PL25. Gives you quite a few options for adding something fun to the mix, on either side.
