Can anyone recommend what type of varnish to use with contrasts - i think don't i want matt as it will dull them down to much - should i be looking for semi-matt, gloss or satin?

I'm also after one I can put through an airbrush rather than a spray can, if anyone can recommend anything specific (in the UK)
