Hello.
I found this forum after being away from 40K for about 15 years or so. Man, a lot has changed. I started with Rouge Trader back when it first came out, and stopped playing at I think it was 4th or 5th edition.

Got back into it after discovering the Mcfarlane figures. As a kid, I prayed that someone would make a Space Marine action figure. Now they do.

Greetings, friend! Macragge is the starter that got my brother and I into the hobby way back when. But we didn't have to sense to stop playing until 6th ed. We jumped back in on the tail end of 8th.

It's a great time to be playing 40K, what with better minis and unprecedented support by GW and the community! Rules imbalance is a bit rough right now but that may not affect you too much just starting out.

Specialist games have also seen a huge resurgence, too.

I'm glad you finally got your Astartes fig. It looks like they're going to keep rolling them out!

Thanks. I missed a lot. Last time I was current was in the middle of the 13th Black Crusade.

And yes I finally got my figure. Several, in fact. I'm going back to what drew me into 40K in the first place. The Crimson Fists. I've already got a thread on the project going ib the P&M Blogs.

Joytoy Marine, still a WIP, originally a Blood Angels Death Company Sergeant, and a WIP Acid Rain based Guardsman.

And prime dropped this of about 30 minutes ago.
