I was curious if anyone else had played the newer Okko game that was on Kickstarter?

I'm a huge fan of the comic and had the original game along with the metal models, I picked up the Okko Chronicles board game with the pvc models which are quite nice but I've yet to play the game itself. I've pondered using the models perhaps with Bushido, Osprey's Ronin, or even L5R's clan war system. I've always been a fan of Samurai models and game settings but it seems I'm in a pretty rare group and yet to find other local players that are interested.

Never even heard of it. Any links?
As to samurai minis, Fireforge Games is starting their KS for 28mm hard plastic samurai/ashigaru/sohei miniatures in may, in case you would be interested in having some. Here is the link for dakka topic https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/803853.page

There's a comic series published by Delcourt (french) and an English version that was put out by Archaia Studios.

Here's the kickstarter link, the first two sets are available at retail now. They just funded their third kickstarter for Cycle of Earth.

The character designs are amazing, it's primarily focused on a small band of demon hunters and it fits incredibly well with a skirmish setting rather than mass battles. The main characters don't tend to have a lot of armor and some of them are in traditional street clothes which I don't see much with other games.

Minis are on a 35mm base, Bosses are bigger. (More pics in my gallery)

Igotthe man game off the dinged and dented shelf at Miniaturemarket’s shop. I have yet to play it, but the models look fantastic. I believe they are larger than Bushido models in scale. I’ll try and take a picture later. Bushido uses specific models for figures and has cards unique to each. Though I’m sure the Oni could be used for Eldest Brother
