Greeting, Hobbyists!

A second attempt at a community showcase and review thread. All ideas and suggestions for structure are welcome, as are comments about the work itself. Additionally, I'm going to float a notion for some voting and ranking structure below.

Our second theme since our format reboot was chosen by poll, with the result of "biomes" as follows:
BIOMES: Your build should embrace a specific environment, ecosystem, habitat, or climate, and could extend to lairs, dungeons, menageries, stasis chambers, alien worlds, as well as good old desert, swamp, snow, etc... as long as it makes the specific setting clear.

I've also included a choose-all-that-impress poll just to generate some data to feed whatever, if anything, we decide on. Just mark any entries that you feel deserve a shout-out, either for close adherence to the theme, innovative or ambitious design, careful crafting on the build and paint, or overall impression.

Without further delay, here are this cycle's entrants in submission order, with additional images in spoilers.

Great entries from everyone.

@Mothsniper - I am still amazed at how quickly you were able to put this together and how well it came out. It almost makes me wonder if building a real one would be hard.

@theCrowe - I love the modularity of your design and your stone paver texture looks like what you would expect in the sewers. I also appreciate the dirt/unpaved sections as what would see when you find an attached cavern or tunnel built by the local denizens.

@Meer_Cat - So much color, like a late summer/early autumn day. The resin pour turned out well and I love the addition of the lily pads.

@Jadenim - This project turned out amazing. With some of the pictures it looks like a real world dry river bed. It has been a while since I have been in that type of environment, but it looks exactly as what I remember seeing. I'm sure it will be a blast to play on.

@Captain Brown - Brilliant use of the grape vine. The luminescence of the mushrooms probably stands out well in a Necromunda setting. I would love to see pics of them in use in your game setup.

@MacPhail - I am a bit of a sucker for wired armature trees and these are no exception.

Its wonderful seeing the work everyone did. Glad to have been part of it. Can't wait to see what you do next time. And a special thanks and appreciation to Macphail for doing all the work for these challenges.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, I’m beyond satisfied with how well this came out!

I think everyone in the thread has done really good work, but my two favourites were Captain Brown’s mushrooms for imaginative use of material that I would normally chuck in the bin and a better glowing, luminescent effect than I’ve ever seen before and MacPhail’s trees and rocks for super-realism.
