Two monsters that fight well in both melee and psychic power

1. Who would win in lore?

2. Who would win in TT?

1) Whomever the book is for, though the fight would probably only have a fatal end if one of the two is going OOP
2) Can't really help you here

On the tabletop :

Unbuffed Yncarne vs Unbuffed Belakor : 16.6 damage
Yncarne with +1 to wound : 20.80 damage
Yncarne with +1 to wound and autowounds on 6 : im bad at math but Belakor would be even dead-er

Unbuffed Belakor vs Yncarne : 8.33 damage

so yeah, belakor loses all the time

How do you get those numbers?

As I see it without buffs:
Belakor gets 6 attacks. Hitting on 2s, rerolling 1s from his own aura. He wounds on 3s. No saves.

So 3.8888~ 3+D3 damage hits, that do half damage rounding up. I guess you could say it averages to 2.66 (since a 4 =2, 5 or 6=3), so 10.37 damage.

Yncarne also has 6 attacks hitting on 3s due to the -1 to hit from Belakor. So 4 hits. Also wounding 3s so 2.666 wounds. No Saves. 2.666*5=13.3 damage. The Yncarne would also expect half a wound (~) from shooting.

Both need to roll above average to get the kill flat - although if you can throw in a couple of wounds from elsewhere (smite etc) it starts to be 50/50.

What if both use psychic powers?
