As I have alot of daemon models, I was thinking that this could be a fun army, with lots of other models like possessed CSM and non-Chaos models entirely being used. Of course there are going to be changes in the new edition, but does anyone here overall have experience playing with this army and know what it is like?

It can be fun. They offer quite a few different playstyles to the Legions, Mechanicum, and Auxilia/Militia with interesting mechanics such as the Warp portals and fluctuating power levels. Also, on a technicality in the current edition, a Greater Daemon Lord could take as many Mastery Levels as it wanted. I'd wait to see what happens this time round of course.

Daemons will be one of my NPC factions alongside Chaos Cult rabble.

Daemons will offer an interesting gameplay experience with their fluctuating power levels.

They have been in this edition as well - the changing stats have always been fun.

I have watched a few batreps fighting Ruinstorm Daemons so far. The best tactic is running away from them until get weaker which is honestly pretty hilarious. So don“t invest too much into foot sloggers when battling them.

How many model do we expect to have in a 2000 points army. and can you take more then on greater demon? I play marines but i always like the demon figures and i expect them to be the same as 40k models

full compagny of bloodangels, 5000 pnt of epic bloodangels
5000 pnt imperial guard
5000 pnt orks
2500 pnt grey knights
5000 pnt gsc
5000 pnts Chaos legionars
4000 pnt tyranids
4000 pnt Tau

played a bit of them, they are really interesting and weird, but in a good way. Unless they drasticly change in play style i would say they are an "Advanced" army wit hthe rules they ahve.

That said i really hope they keep the same kinda style as 1.0 because in HH 1.0 Daemons of the ruinstorm were basically build a bear workshop the army.

To many unpainted models to count.
