I have been working on a blood angels army and am currently putting a ton of time into my army but for reference I have an assault intercessor squad an heavy intercessor squad captain in gravis armour a terminator assault squad blade guard ancient commander Dante and Gabriel Seth coming out to 1000 points. I would just like to know what to add

Preparing the Invasion of Terra

I would recommend more Troops choices for sure.

All BA armies spam sanguinary guard, as it is their best unit. If you want them to fit the primaris size and look, a good way to build them is to get your hands on some 3ed party jump packs or resin racasts of GW originals and SCE models you prefare and then sprinkle.

Getting a box of space marine primaris infiltration guys is a good idea too. As all marines run at least a unit of them. Having 5 of each time would be a good start, and give you 2 troops.

character wise. someone with a bike or jump pack would be good. Again SCE can give you parts for a really cool looking, and modern sized, BA character. A primaris chaplain on a bike is a staple in all melee marine armies.

You don't have to get those units in one go. But in general those are the directions BA lists would go, while being expended to 2k pts.

And if you plan to run the heavy intercessors a good idea, would be to get some aggressors or similar unit for target saturation. But that is a very future thing.

A box of sanguinary guard and a jump pack/bike character would be my priority, if I was playing BAs.

If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. If you slaughter, then slaughter in the best manner. Let one of you sharpen his knife so his animal feels no pain.

I don’t have a ton of money that’s why I stated poor hammer because my units are made out of cardboard but thank you once I get the money I’ll probably buy some things you told me

So make any/all of the above out of cardboard just as you've already been doing.

If you want to know what to build 1st? Examine how your games have been going. What do you need? Otherwise build 2-3 more troop choices as that's the foundation for 3 of the detachments.

You don't have to buy everything in one go. If you go one box at a time. I would first try to get a unit of sanguinary guard or the aggresors. The outridder biker are very good for making your own mounted characters. Regular and assault intercessor make good characters. To make a cpt/chapter master/Lt with a relic chainsword all you need to do it get a shield from somewhere, which can range from plastic shields from the AoS line to a plasticard cut out, and a single jump pack/wings. Regular intercessors are practically impossible to pick out from a primaris Lt. Come to think of it, if I had a really small budget, and my is always small, and with the units you already have, I would probably try to get my self half of the recruit box and then go through ebay etc looking for people selling of single units, characters, half of boxs or stuff they didn't want or need from starter and patrol boxs. the build of the army will be slow, but much cheaper then the store or GW store price.
