Hi All

I was just wondering if there was a brand or secret sauce in the realm of latex gloves you folks use for painting minis.

I personally plan to just go get some generic XL latex gloves from Home Depot so I can prime minis without worrying about getting paint all over my hands, but I've seen guys using all sorts of gloves for the whole process.

I've seen a lot of youtube personalities using the black tattoo gloves but I don't think I need to be spending premium money on gloves especially if I just want to use them for priming/sealing minis.

So tell me what you guys do, I'm interested to hear.

One thought - the black gloves you see could just be latex. It comes in different colours.

Otherwise I'd wager any gloves that are affordable and fit would work for the job. In the end you're only using it to keep your hands clean of paint, so in general unless you've an allergic reaction to any of the glove materials (or powders used to coat the inside of some); then any glove will suit.

Another aspect that "might" be important is if you 3d print, or are planning too, with SLA printers (ergo liquid resin) as if you do then Nitrile Gloves will be what you want without question. Or butyl gloves if you can't use Nitrile. You won't use Latex as it will melt when it comes into contact with liquid resin.

Nitrile. That's what gloves are made of these days.
