So I'm going to a tournament and want to keep a simpleish tank oriented list trying to take advantage of Hammer of the Emperor. The other concept I'm entertaining is basically 6 punishers (tripple bolters), 2 TCs with plasma, LC and BC, and two fpayload manticores all in a spearhead (spotter details, jury rig). That list should be fast but probably less flexible. Thoughts on tweaks or which army you think would fare better as I fish for sixes?

I wouldn’t suggest Armageddon. Just go Cadian. Then you can at least benefit from all their stratagems.

Fair point. I've typically run Catachan, but Cadians would unlock a lot more opportunities for rerolls /hits.
