Anyone know where I can find ship or deck plans for space faring ships in the 40K world?

I'm working on a Space Hulk idea that involves multiple decks and need some inspiration. I realize these ships are huge, but I'd rather work from pre-existing stuff than make it up.

Any Imperial, Ork, or Tau would be great. Not interested in Chaos or Tyranid infested (just yet).

Thanks in advance. - Smitty, Lorton, VA USA

There are no deck plans for any ship in battle fleet gothic. Use real ship deck plans and go from there.

Thanks for the reply.  I figured that was the case.  I've found excellent graphics of various Imperial ship, but no interior deck plans.

Hey I recently took a shot at making deck plans for wh40k, even though its a impossible job, I made a few "small" deckplans, 3 decks of a minor personal transport, and a rather massive 19000x14000pixel singel deck of 7 on a bigger ship.

The big one was too big for deviantart and an be downloade from my dropbox http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16936383/The%20vigilant_Deck%201.png
Note, it takes forever to load, but if you can rightclick and save as to your own HD

I've got a couple of sets of 25mm gridded starship plans in my collection (they were done back in the 90s by Seeker Gaming Systems for use in Traveller (rpg) and suchlike).

Yeah, no official deck plans from what I have ever seen. However, 40k space ships are so huge, pretty much any configuration you could dream up would probably work.

One source of inspiration would be to use the offical artwork from things such as the BFG rule book or Rogue Trader RPG to extrapolate the layout of a ship. Also, solid text descriptions of the interiors of Imperial ships have been provided in several BL novels, including the first 3 books of the HH series and Execution Hour.

In front of my computer

If I remember well there were deck plans made by GW years ago that I managed to find on their site.

Basically it was provided with a scenario and rules on for boarding actions to be linked with BFG or something like that. It was a pdf file you could print and cut-out. You had a few corridors and rooms with consoles and stuff like that.

Unfortunately, with their new international site we lost an ENORMOUS amount of quality hobby and gaming articles and I just can't find them on my computer anymore.

Sorry for not being of any more help.

Well, there was an old supplement book called BFG Invasion that GW released in 2002. I've never looked inside it, but it was supposed to support boarding actions. Maybe there are some floor plans in it?
