Subject: Lost to the Butcher's Nails - Arkhanist's 30k World Eaters
I originally bought Betrayal at Calth and Burning of Prospero with the intent to do a heresy-era 12th Legion army. Aaand they've sat in my Mountain of Shame ever since. With the upcoming launch of Heresy 2.0, and the shiny new box full of Mark VI power armour, I couldn't resist. My first marines were from the classic RTB01 box, and I've had a soft spot for the pointy-nosed beakies ever since.
But while I wait for the big new box, I thought I'd get started with what I have - with added chainaxes, of course. And since i think I'll end up as mad as Angron if I try to paint these my normal (veeeery slow) way, I'll also be experimenting with batch painting by airbrush as much as I can.
I';m going to be trying out something similar to Pete the Wargamer's World Eaters scheme.
So my airbrush is deep cleaned, primer and paints to hand, now to start with this little group!
