Hello Members of the Dakka Dakka Forum, I am searching for tips on converting Black Powder for 6mm Figures. If anyone has any rules they use for 6mm it would be much appreciated if one could share said rules.

That said, many people just use Warlord's Black Powder, Osprey's Absolute Emperor, or really any ruleset they like; only with 6mm models instead of 15mm or 28mm.

Thank You! I was thinking about checking out Blucher. Although mostly just to see how well it would work for Franco-Prussian War gaming.

I found these rosters for the Franco-Prussian War that can be used with Black Powder:

French

Prussian

For 6mm Black Powder, I'd recommend changing all of the measurements from inches to centimeters. This will decrease ranges and movements by 2/3, giving you a larger scope of engagement for bigger battles.

Another option would be these house rules.

Getting Black Powder to work for FPW may be difficult, since it's far along enough into the "Rifle & Saber" period that Black Powder stops being useful as a ruleset.
