I'm having a lot of trouble painting the eye lenses of the model on the right, as I keep going outside and smudging paint on the helmet. Any advice on how to paint this part properly, as well as just keeping in the lines of small details in general?

Use a fine point brush to build up the paint gradually and keep the line between the lens and the helmet. If any paint does go over the distinction, use a blackline to put it back in.

Thanks. What do you mean by a blackline?

Take some black on the fine tipped brush, and seperate the painted sections with a very thin line of the black.
