So I was looking for dleivering multimeltas in the game. I am undesided between eradicators (45), attack bikes with multimelta (60) and landspeeders with multimelta (70) or just landspeeder with multimelta and heavy bolter. (80.)

The bike and landspeeders speed helps delivery. And armour of cotemt really help them out. What do you think?

Attack Bikes get good mileage with their Multi-Melta.

Long Fangs in Drop Pod then? Keen Senses to remove the penalty for disembarking?

If Eradicators can't focus fire on a single target, they are worse than Long Fangs*. When they do focus fire on a large squad, you are probably going to overkill. The main advantage to Eradicators have over Long Fangs is that you can just blow 300 points on them (as opposed to 213), so they are good for the single heavy slot.

*Just on their face. The Multimelta is effectively the regular Melta Rifle that always shoots twice (and is heavy as opposed to assault), ie always has 'total obliteration' but can split fire.

For SMs I like drop pods.

I've been throwing drop pods full of MM armed Longfangs at the foe since 2e.
(My entire SW force barring speeders & 1 jump-squad is mounted in pods)

Aside from the drop pods, what I like is a 3 man Bike Squad with an attack Bike.

You take a combi-melta on the Seargent and 2 meltaguns on the bikers. For 180 points it gives you 1 multi-melta, 3 standard melta, and all the extra biker boltguns to splitfire into any light infantry that might try to tie you up after you hit your big target.

I am showing that bike squad with Combi-melta and 2 Meltaguns with an Attack Bike with Multimelta is 170 points, not 180.
Looks like if you count the Meltaguns as 1/2 a MM (not caring about the range), that is basically 2.5 MM and 4 twin-boltguns? 4 models 13W
Alternatively, just a 3x Attack Bike Squad with 3x MM and 3 twin-boltguns for 180 points. 3 models 12W.

I suppose there is probably some advantage to having an extra model to soak wounds and to save 10 points... but I don't see how that is more efficient when you lose half a MM.
