After a very extended break from 40k and a few false starts at coming back to the game I have been pestered enough recently by the kids to start back up. Both my daughters will be starting up some fun armies to tag team against me which probably won't follow all the standard army rules. My force will follow those rules as a handicap against them as well as allowing me to find some local places to play. I am looking to pickup my old favorite Deathwing as a good solid list. Working through this with Battlescribe until I can get my hands on the Codex so let me know if I screwed anything up.

Have been debating on Relics for this character and have not made a final choice yet so feel free to toss ideas.

Total comes out to 1498 points.

General battle plan will be to use the Chappy and Apothecary to push up the board. Combat squad the 2 larger terminator squads so each has a shooting firebase half and half that can push up the board. The Knights and possibly the command squads either push up or are held for deepstrike as needed.

Looks pretty good for chill play and something I'd also take to a 1500pt event should one pop up.

You will find this list doing quite well in Tempest of War at home or at the gaming store, although that might require you to deepstrike a unit or two for board coverage otherwise a band draw of cards could hurt more as you stare across the table.

If you'll allow the additional opinion, your daughters might enjoy the dynamic of working as a team to choose when to ditch/accomplish objective cards drawn from their hand in a Tempest of War game.
